Farewell To The King

At 1pm. today, His Royal Highness and Smacker of All Things Whiny, crossed The Bridge.
His decline was very swift and merciful. He had been doing wonderfully right up until yesterday when he became very lethargic and was obviously in great pain and disoriented. Kathy and I could not bear to see him suffer so. After much discussion, tears and consultation, we made the decision to let him cross over with dignity and grace.

It was truly the hardest decision we have ever made and our hearts are shattered.
We would like to thank each and every one of his fans/minions for all the support and joy you have given us.

I am unsure right now what the future holds for the blog, his FaceBook profile or his third book. For now, Kathy and I will be taking a hiatus from Social Media to mourn his passing.
Deepest gratitude and love from the entire Dunn Clan.

  11. Cujo will be missed terribly, his stories always gave me a lift. Having had cats there wasn't much that was not sort of believable. I feel for you all and know how hard that decision was and yet you knew necessary. Thinking of you and hope you can continue the blog after a break.

    Take care,
    Lucy (Troy, Ohio)

  19. I am so sorry - for your loss, and for the loss of all of us who enjoyed him. (Especially at a time when we need MORE "smackers of all things whiny" - not fewer!) He will certainly never be forgotten !

  22. Oh, Cujo, whoever will keep everyone in line, unless you can figure out how to do it from the bridge. If anyone can do that it will be you. We will miss you more than mere words can say. Hopefully your minions will try to comfort your two leggers, hopefully, without you there to make them do it. The world will not be the same without you in it. Love from Henry, Lily and Jane and their two leggers
